Boysenberries (Rubus 'Boysen') are a rich, sweettart hybrid berry developed in California by Rudolph Boysen and made famous by Knott’s Berry Farm. Known for its large deeppurple berries and complex flavor, the boysenberry is excellent for fresh eating, jams, pies, and baking.

This trailing bramble thrives in full sun and fertile, welldrained soil, producing fruit on secondyear canes from midsummer through early fall.  Its a productive and flavorful addition to any berry garden.
